Make the bars
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang on two sides.
- In a large bowl, whisk 1 cup of the melted butter with the brown sugar.
- Whisk in the eggs and vanilla.
- Add the flour, baking powder, and salt, and stir just until combined.
- Fold in 1 cup of the cranberries and 3/4 cup of the white chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
- Bake for 22–26 minutes, until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool completely in the pan, about 1 hour.
Make the frosting
- Beat the cream cheese and remaining 1/4 cup softened butter in a medium bowl until smooth.
- Beat in the powdered sugar and orange zest until creamy.
Finish the bars
- Spread the frosting over the cooled bars.
- Microwave the remaining 1/2 cup white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 15-second bursts, stirring between bursts, until smooth.
- Drizzle the white chocolate over the frosting.
- Scatter the remaining 1/3 cup cranberries on top.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set the topping.
- Lift the bars from the pan using the parchment and cut into 24 pieces.
